Unexpected expenses are the absolute worst!

Here are 10 ways to put extra money in your pocket this fall!

• Babysit - are you great with kids? CPR certified? Need extra cash? If you answered yes to at least 2 out of the three questions, then you should look into babysitting. Parents in your town NEED date nights and quiet time - why not make money watching their kids for a few hours? Depending on how good you are (and how desperate the parent), you can make between $15 and $30 an hour.

• Blog - yes, you CAN make money blogging! Write about what you know and what you're passionate about. Make it personal and engaging and wallah you can make money through ads or sponsored posts. Want to start a website? Purchase a domain and hosting through BlueHost and HostGator. By purchasing through either one, you can bypass paying for a site on WordPress dot com. Trust me, you can have fun, make new friends and earn money through blogging.

• Izea - have a large social media following? Sign up on websites like Izea and get paid to advertise on your Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter pages.

• Lyft - have a car? Then get paid up to $1,200 a week for driving others around.

• Rent out your spare room - have a spare room? With sites like Air BnB, you can rent your extra space out to a potential tenant.
• Rent out your car - Are you a homebody, have a 2nd card, or rarely drive your car? Then rent it to other people using Relay Rides and make some extra cash.

• YouTube - Yes, you can make tons of money by monetizing your Youtube videos.

• Podcasting - Have an interesting personality? Maybe you’ve had dreams of becoming a radio personality? Then share your thoughts, jokes, or music with others! You don’t get paid immediately but when you gain a massive following, you’ll be invited to SoundCloud’s premiere group where you can share ad profits and get paid.
